Autobiography

Nagiyatova Lazzat Bermakhanovna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, PhD. Senior English teacher, Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Philological Faculty, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Area of scientific interests: history, Theory and Practice of Regional Journalism, Translation Studies, Methods of English Teaching. In 2004 studied at Aspirantura, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in 2013 – defended PhD at Kazan Federal University (Kazan, Russia) on “Typological and functional peculiarities of the regional mass media of post-soviet Kazakhstan (on materials of Kyzylorda region)”. In 2009 had internship at Kent State University, America (Ohio) on UASP scholarships program with IREX. Has three literary books translated from Russian into Kazakh, as well as more than 30 scientific papers on the Theory and Practice of Regional Journalism in Kazakhstan and articles on methods of Teaching English in higher educationa of Kazakhstan. 1.
